“Looks”

In that idea Richard Avedon looks for moments where the person, who was photographed, was vulnerable and in that moment lowered their guard, because at that time his or her real identity appeared. He achieved this by exhausting the person photographed with long hours of photo shoot and many questions.

A rectangular framing on the eyes make its more important and the eyes of the subject speak to the observer. Nose, lips and face can’t communicate on the same level, only through the eyes you can know who a person is.

In addition to the unique colour and uniqueness of each look and the colour allocation on the iris is like a picture.
